Wednesday

Today is the first anniversary of the Belli Challenge! Congratulations Chrissy! Since I've only been keeping up with The Daily Dare for just about a month, accomplishing a whole year of challenges is quite a feat to celebrate in my opinion! Definitely something to be proud of! I hope all of you challenge chasers will stop by Chrissy's blog and make a comment to express congratulations!

Monday

Well, sometimes things just don't go the way you had planned! We're all very sad to see that CHA is restricting camera usage, so there just aren't as many pictures and sneak peeks as we had hoped there would be. The few pictures that have trickled through have shown some REALLY fun products though, so the next few months ought to bring some fun new toys!

Here are today's challenges:

Sunday

The Sunday morning routine in the Felts household includes praise team practice from 8:30 to 9:30, two worship services (contemporary and traditional) followed by lunch and *finally* some stamping! New, uninked rubber in the house sometimes makes it hard to concentrate! I wanna get home early today! I'm especially excited to hear any news from CHA! There should be pictures soon!

Here are today's challenges:

Wednesday

I have so much admiration for those of you who deal with cold weather on a regular basis! North Florida is expected to wake up to 22 degrees this morning!

I got some new stamp goodies in the mail yesterday, so I'm excited to ink 'em up and stay warm and cozy in my stamp room (aka the guest bedroom no one dare come into!). Happy Stamping!

OH! Looks like we're on the tail end of this one-day challenge, but there are a few hours left to get a card in! Check out the Celebrate MFT Day challenge!

Sunday

Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday...stay warm! Even in Florida we are waking up to temperatures below freezing, so the rest of you are *really* cold! Great weather for lots of stamping! I'll be finishing up my VSN submissions this afternoon to have them ready for the 10 pm EST deadline.

VSN Saturday!

Today is Virtual Stamp Night on SCS, so there will be lots of extra challenges to play along with...this little scrapling is from the teaser challenge last night. I had never made one before and it was so much fun! You have 45 minutes (any 45 minutes, not just the 45 right after the challenge is posted) to complete each challenge, and all submissions must be uploaded by 10:00 p.m. EST this Sunday night. If you've never played, I encourage you to give it a whirl!

Here are today's recurring challenges:

Hope you have a Fab Friday!

Last week I was scrambling to get ready for Regionals...this week is the opposite. It is a very quiet, uneventful day, but I must admit that a peaceful day at home is a welcome respite! I hope you enjoy a peaceful, productive day! Happy stamping!

Sunday

Here are Sunday's challenges...I am really hoping that I can play along with the His Holy Name and Scripture challenges this year. Have you seen the beauties from last year's challenge? They are gorgeous and make a great study at the same time!

I should be home soon! So updates will follow!

Stampin' on Saturday

I'm sure Silke, Denise, Kathy and I will be having a terrific time in Orlando as you read this post! Hope you have a terrific weekend!

A Fun Friday!

Hello all! I am a little later than I'd like to be w/ today's post (midnight would be nice!) because I'm headed to Orlando for SU regionals and I've had lots of deadlines and extra things to do...if ever I'm late with another, just scroll down to the prior week's listing for that day of the week. All the new challenges that have been brought to light should have been added to the list, although occasionally one will sneak by. At least that way you can see what's out there and you're not stalking challenges altogether.

I'm very excited about this trip! I wasn't even planning to go until Silke (sparklegirl) and Denise (peanutbee) said they were going, which immediately and completely changed my mind. I am beyond excited! We are gonna have so much fun! This will be the first SU event that my upline, Kathy, and I have attended together, and it is gonna be a blast!

Here's today's challenge list:Treehouse Stamps held their release party on PCP last night...it was soooo much fun! Two new Treehouse stamps were revealed, and we shared cards using some of the new stuff that has been added recently (Lelo, Whiff of Joy, Inkadinkado and more). That includes copic kits at very reasonable prices, so you need to go check it out! The card I am displaying today is one that I made using my new copic markers and a cute little $1 stamp also from THS. I love these little stamps because they're QUICK! They're perfect for practicing coloring techniques because they're small, and they're just SO cute!

OK...off and running to pack the car and be on my way!

Thursday

How many of you create lots of cards for others and yet often neglect sending them to your own family? Today I'm encouraging you to make a card to let someone near and dear know how much you appreciate them!

Here's today's list:
If you know of others, please add the link in your comment! Thanks to everyone for helping compile the list!

How about...

a little challenge to spend 15 minutes cleaning your desk? If yours looks like mine, 15 minutes could clear enough room to really make a difference in your creativity! Another good challenge would be to actually MAIL some of your cards! This was a challenge I missed on Monday, so you have a few days to squeeze it in before the next one rolls around.CPS sketch card

This card is one I made for the CPS sketch this week. Find out more on my blog.

Our first full week...

And another full list of challenges to choose from:

That last challenge is one you should really check out! An 8 year old girl is drawing sketches for her mom and her mom's friends! Thanks Michelle for the info!

Come Sunday...

It seems that Sunday is truly a day of rest! I have only three links for Sunday challenges to share (edited to add that this list is growing since the original post!):
Please leave your comment to link to any others that should be added. Thanks to all of you who are contributing!

Sunday Stamping Blessings!

Do you like it?

How are we doin' so far? Still in *basic* mode for now...we're hoping to add some buttons across the top to link to each day of the week, and to begin to categorize the types of challenges and vendor specific ones, but for now, just we're simply gathering links.

Saturday's listing: Today also is the final challenge for Gina K's week of special challenges, so don't miss the giant prize give-away!

Hopefully it has been helpful to have the challenges all listed in one place so you can make your favorite choice!

The card I'm sharing with you is a card I made for the Sweet 'n Sassy release party last night. We were challenged by Suzy Haghighi of Paper Monkey to make a card using a technique called paper tole. I stamped the image on whisper white cardstock, then stamped the flowers twice more, cutting and layering them to give the design dimension and depth. So fun! I think this card came out looking rather old-fashioned, like the wall-paper in my grandmother's house! You can visit the gallery at SCS to see more cards made using this technique.

Thanks for visiting!

TGIF!?

Today is probably one Friday you're not feeling that way, because this Monday will mean back-to-work. I hope you're having a wonderful holiday!

Here are the offerings for today's challenges:
In addition, Gina K has a special challenge for today only. With all these, there is plenty to keep a stamper busy! Have a great weekend!

ETA: Thanks, Michelle, for commenting so that I could add your links to today's list!

Happy New Year!

Good morning on this first Thursday of 2009! How appropriate that this morning's SCS Ways to Use IT challenge would feature silver!

Here are the challenges that are posted on Thursdays...again, the bloggers are taking holiday and will be back to their normal schedules next week.
Do you know of others? Add 'em in your comment!
